AGM Sunday March 8th.  As part of Morning Worship. This will be an opportunity to celebrate all the good things that have happened at Trinity over the last year. If you are involved in a Church group / organisation or similar and would like to submit a written report for circulation then please email it to timbroad@btinternet.com before the end of February

Trinity Tots.  Urgent can anyone help at Trinity Tots on Wednesday 4th March please from 8.30am to about 12 noon. Please let Jane or Sylvia know if you are available as soon as possible.

Safeguarding Conference.  Safeguarding Conference. This will be a chance for our churches to engage with mental health and learn about how we can help those struggling with their mental health to be safe and flourish in our churches. We will be running workshops, hearing from speakers and have the opportunity to undergo a Virtual Dementia Experience that will put you in the shoes of a person suffering from dementia. The event is free to attend, though we do ask for donations from those who are able to give to cover expenses.  Please see attached poster for more details.

Open Church Meeting - on Tuesday February 25th at 7.30pm.  This is to discuss the “God in Love Unites Us”: report presented to the Methodist Conference 2019 and which deals with issues surrounding the Methodist understanding of Marriage; Human Relationships and Sexuality . A letter is available downstairs to provide a brief background and the full report is available on-line by typing the report name into google. This report is provoking much discussion within the Methodist Church (both locally and nationally) and the Leadership Team are keen to get a sense of the views of all at Trinity so please do your best to come along.

Action for Children.  This Lent, you can help Action for Children by joining the ‘Count Your Blessings Giving’ to help provide a safe and happy childhood for the many it supports. I can provide forms a sample of which is on the notice board. At the end of the period all money will be collected and forwarded to the charity. This is a personal effort for anyone wanting a challenge for Lent. Thanking you.

Parking In Hassel And Lucking's Car Park.  An important reminder to all car users that our use of the car park is only for disabled and frail people on a Sunday morning and only for the use of the Crossways staff on a Saturday morning. Special occasions like Christmas Fayre and Holiday Club need to be discussed with Mr Lucking directly, who is generally very cooperative and lets us use it free of charge. However we don’t want to spoil the present agreement, by parking at times outside of these arrangements. Your help in this matter is appreciated.

Funeral of Roy Dunn.  The funeral of Roy Dunn will take place on Thursday 20th Feb at 2pm at Stockton on Tees Crematorium.

World day of Prayer.  (formerly Women’s world day of prayer) is on Friday March 6th and this year we at Trinity are hosting. It’s 10am for coffee with  the service starting at 10.30am. Everyone is welcome and hope that as many as can will join us. See you there.

FreyaFreya is progressing really well and has started pre-school which she is really enjoying. We ask you please to continue to pray for her and the family. For them to stay healthy and for complete healing. We thank God for his many blessings, and we thank you all for your continued support. With our love Celia and Bryan

Ladies ConferenceLadies conference, which is free of charge, will be on Saturday 21st March 10am to 4pm and we are delighted to say that our speaker is Debbie Hawker who will be talking on Resilience and Faith. Debbie brings her vast experience and training to this Topic, her gentle godly nature will inspire and encourage you. Our desire is that you will have a day of blessing and encouragement and that we will all learn some practical lessons in how to maintain our own resilience. If you would like to come please speak to Sarah, Jane, June or Margaret and we will book you in.

The Property and Finance  Secretary.  The Property and Finance meeting is looking for a new Secretary could this be YOU?  This is an admin role so you don’t need to have any property or finance skills; other members of the meeting look after that. The role involves taking the minutes at our meeting 3 times per year and representing the property team at the Church Council meetings which are also 3 times a year. In terms of administration there are a number of records which need to be maintained on an annual basis to ensure we are compliant and maintaining the equipment. If you are interested or would like further information please speak to John Fletcher.

Sleep Out for Canaan Trust - Friday 17th April 2020To mark the Trust’s 25th anniversary so we hope that this will the biggest Sleep Out yet. Get a taste of life on the streets; raise awareness and funds to support the homeless and those in desperate need in our community. See the poster in the foyer and / or talk to “experienced sleep-outer” Ruth Broad.

Prayer Requests.  To be included in the notices (please get their permission, or that of close family).  Send to Trinity notices or phone / text Libby Webb on 07443 423101 or phone 0115 9397257.
